  1. Profile Guidelines

If you wish to use service as Creator you need to have registered account with Spoil Me.

During onboarding, we may ask for some information for security and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) reasons. Requirements vary by country. Providing accurate information is crucial; inaccurate information may lead to account suspension.

Age. You need to be at least 13 years old (16 in UK/EEA) to join Spoil Me. Creating a profile that intentionally misrepresents you as being under the age is not allowed. Some features and functions of the Services are only available to users over the age of 18 years, such as receipt of Gift Funds and Stripe payouts.

Profile photo requirements. For an impactful profile photo, ensure it's of good quality, empowers your individuality by being a clear, focused, and authentic representation of yourself with a sole focus on your face, avoiding fake or significantly altered images, refrain from nudity, and strictly prohibiting any illegal content to maintain community integrity.

2. Connection of your verified Stripe account

Stripe is our payment provider for handling Gift Fund payouts. When you join Spoil Me as a Creator, you'll need to set up a Stripe payout account with your bank details and some personal information for Stripe to verify your identity.

Stripe, our third-party payments processor, legally requires its users to provide additional identity verification in certain circumstances. These circumstances can include:

  • Meeting a specific earnings threshold called KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.

  • A yearly verification is required in certain countries during tax season. This verification is needed so Stripe can prepare tax reporting documents for the federal government.

  • Updates to Stripe's KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements that require account information to be re-verified.

    Why verify your identity?

Stripe needs to collect and verify information about you to comply with regulations and prevent financial crimes like money laundering and tax evasion.

    How Stripe verifies your account:

Stripe will check your name, date of birth, and government ID number (or the last 4 digits of your SSN in the USA) against global databases. Stripe may require other information in order to complete the verification. All information is processed and stored securely by Stripe.

Stripe payout feature is available in most countries supported by Stripe, except for Mexico and India. You can check out the list of supported countries here.
